WHERE DO I GET THE FLOWERS TO CHASE AWAY THE BLUE MONSTERS?
From the flower patches that are scattered around the islands. Beware, they are difficult to see amongst the various grasses and bushes on the islands:

Turn them in to the fairy godmother on the main event island when you have enough; you will receive gifts of stamps, gems, soap bubbles (for unblocking) and upgrades to island rewards.

They are called good deed points, and you earn them for every action on the quest islands in the event. Each day, if you do well enough inside your own "faction" (color group), you can get a multiplier at the end of the day and earn more than what you earned for your actions on the islands. And if your whole team wins the day, then the whole team gets 24 hours to convert them at 2X inside the Karma Machine for luck coins. WHERE IS THE KARMA MACHINE?
There is one on the main event island, but you also have a permanent one on your own main, regular island that you placed somewhere. You can use either one of them to turn in good deed points, but remember - ONLY turn them in for luck coins on a day that you have a 2X showing in the machine.

Just a quick question, once i entered into the fairy tale event, am i able to return back to my home island while waiting for the strudel to refill? or theres no returning once i leave the island?
ReplyDeleteClick the map icon in the lower left corner of your quest island, and that takes you back to the main event island. Then click the door icon in the lower left corner and choose "sail away".
DeleteYou can go and come back as often as you wish for the 15 days it's running.
Correction - when you're back on the main fairy tale island, the icon in the lower left is another map icon.
DeleteIs it possible to complete all quests in these events in the allotted time without spending gems?
ReplyDeleteNo, I'm afraid not. While the main island can be done without having to spend money, all three of the monthly side events are designed to only be completed if you spend real money and/or gems. The side events are the bulk of how they make their money as a business.
DeleteMy advice to those who don't or can't spend is to just do what you can and collect what rewards you can manage, and not worry about the rest.
Can you go back to the fairy tales island and finish it later?
ReplyDeleteSorry, not this one. No 15 day event can be repeated. There is a Fairy Tale arch island set that can be redone, but not this one.

ReplyDeleteSucks that you cannot complete this quest without spending money!!! For this reason I will not recommend this game to anyone.
ReplyDeletePlease remember that the side events will not affect your main island game at all. The main game is totally FREE to play, there is never any reason to spend money on it. (Unless you're just impatient.) The side events are where they make their money - remember, they are a business and have to pay their employees. But if you skip the side events completely, you will still be able to play the main island with no problem.
